Some may wonder if it is easy, <strong>NO<\/strong>, you want things that you can&#8217;t have. Besides, this past week was Valentine&#8217;s Day and I wanted chocolate and it was the first time I didn&#8217;t make Michael&#8217;s special valentine.<\/p>\n<p>We take it one day at a time and sometimes a step at time. Michael and I are allotted some differences on the diet and that makes it hard at times.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/littlelighthouse.us\/beams\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/20170212_093429.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-718957\" src=\"http:\/\/littlelighthouse.us\/beams\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/20170212_093429-300x169.jpg\" alt=\"20170212_093429\" width=\"300\" height=\"169\" \/><\/a>For breakfast during the week he usually has a boiled eggs and an apple. I either have a couple of fried eggs and a Strawberry smoothie or panfakes with strawberry relish.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/littlelighthouse.us\/beams\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/20170218_151242.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-718965\" src=\"http:\/\/littlelighthouse.us\/beams\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/20170218_151242-300x169.jpg\" alt=\"20170218_151242\" width=\"300\" height=\"169\" \/><\/a>For lunch we have a pile of veggies and usually a small amount of meat. Then supper another pile of veggies and 4 oz of meat.<\/p>\n<p>Then comes our bedtime snack! Yep we get to eat a snack <a href=\"http:\/\/littlelighthouse.us\/beams\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/20170217_202622.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-718966\" src=\"http:\/\/littlelighthouse.us\/beams\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/20170217_202622-300x169.jpg\" alt=\"20170217_202622\" width=\"300\" height=\"169\" \/><\/a>before bedtime! I fix fried apples each evening.<\/p>\n<p>It sounds easy&#8230;<strong>it isn&#8217;t<\/strong>! It is amazing how much we think we cut back until you are really cutting back. Is it worth it? I am determined to find out! If it keeps me from going on more meds and getting off some I have been on for a long time, it is worth it!<\/p>\n<p>I have set some goals but my health is the reason we went on this and it is the reason I will fight to the end.<\/p>\n<p>I have some new things I will be taking part in due to being on this program. I&#8217;m excited and hope I can help others out in just a small way.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/littlelighthouse.us\/beams\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/20170219_143644.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-718968\" src=\"http:\/\/littlelighthouse.us\/beams\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/20170219_143644-300x169.jpg\" alt=\"20170219_143644\" width=\"300\" height=\"169\" \/><\/a>By, the way, I still get to eat steak! Just the right amount of it!<\/p>\n<p>Thanks to our awesome cheerleaders and doctors for cheering us on!
