Day 6 is here!

20170206_112501In some ways this first week is flying by and in other ways it is dragging. But so far we are on track.

When someone tells you that you can’t fill up on veggies, don’t believe them! We are allowed 2 servings of certain fruits, at least 4 cups of veggies (more if possible) and for most 8 oz of protein a day. I have to have more due to my blood sugar. We20170206_190004 have yet to be hungry and a lot of the times, I have to be careful because I don’t eat as much as they call for on everything and it upsets my stomach.

20170207_174138You prepare the food the want to in their guide lines and they have a pile of recipes to follow too.

Has it helped my sugar and blood pressure yet? Not yet, but who thought it was going to fix everything in the first week, right.
