One day at a time sweet Jesus
That’s all I’m asking from you.
Just give me the strength
To do everyday what I have to do.
Yesterday’s gone sweet Jesus
And tomorrow may never be mine.
Lord help me today, show me the way
One day at a time.
This week I have swung from highs to lows and shed lots of tears. The stress has been really bad and it seems that we have been hit from
all different sides, BUT through it all God has helped us to keep going. Have we been able to stay on our diet plan all week. NO, we haven’t. But our goal is still before us and we are still working toward it.
I’m so thankful for those that have held our family up in your prayers over the past few weeks. I’m thankful for my family that have been there and listened to me cry and encouraged me to hang in there. Just because we have seen big progress doesn’t mean that it is always easy to stick with it. I have seen that during the tough times is when it shows how dedicated we are.
Again, we are thankful for Dr. Abrams to being there for us and encouraging us each step of the way. Michael and I were talking the other day about how much we had spent on the program and we both needed certain things but we chose our overall health instead and we wouldn’t change any of that!! We have been blessed getting to know our doctor and her husband and are so thankful that she is dedicated to her patients and their health.
So, this week as school starts, in our house, and many new changes in our life take place that we didn’t want, we are leaning on the Lord and taking it one day at a time.
